Appointments

Before booking an appointment with one of our clinicians, it may be worth looking at our self-referrals page to check if a surgery appointment is needed for the service you require.

How to Book an Appointment

You can make an appointment in the following ways:

Please call between 08:00-10:00 for an on the day appointment. As we triage all our appointments, the reception team will take your telephone number and you will then be called back by a GP who will allocate you an appointment with the appropriate clinician.

The practice is very busy during peak times, unless your call is urgent at that time, please call a little later. Calls are being answered all the time.

Please do not bring a list of problems, but speak to our receptionist if you really need a longer appointment.

Waiting

We are a busy practice and endeavour to give the best service to all our patients (over 11,500), if you have to wait, please be patient. It may be you who needs a little more than 10 minutes next time. To help us keep to time it would be easier if you see the same doctor for routine appointments.

Doctors Advice Calls

When you are requesting an advice call from a doctor, please leave your name and telephone number and a GP will phone you back.

This will either be your preferred/usual GP or another GP who is available to make the call. Sick notes are not classed as something which requires an on-the-day call back and will need to wait until your usual GP is available.

MK Health Extra

General practice appointments available to suit you.

You can access general practice appointments on weekday evenings and weekends, at several locations in Milton Keynes.

Although we do not book these at our surgery if you visit 111.nhs.uk they will book the right appointment for you.

Cancelling Appointments

If you cannot attend an appointment, please notify the practice as soon as possible to enable us to offer it to another patient.
